Join Slowfire teacher Ms. Alice for an exciting and hands-on art class where students will explore the art of jewelry making—with a creative and entrepreneurial twist! In Be a Jewelry Entrepreneur, students will learn a wide variety of jewelry-making techniques while also gaining insights into how artists design, price, and sell their own work.
This class encourages both craftsmanship and creativity as students learn to make one-of-a-kind wearable pieces. Projects may include: Beaded jewelry, Wire wrapping, Polymer clay charms and pendants, Ceramic jewelry (glazed and kiln-fired), Metal stamping (personalized designs using letter and shape stamps on silver blanks)
Students will also get an introduction to branding, display techniques, and simple pricing concepts, encouraging them to think like young entrepreneurs and take pride in their creations. No experience is necessary—just a love for art, design, and sparkle!
